One of my favourite feelgood songs ever; it has some brilliant memories for me from the summer of 2002, which is when I bought a cheap copy of the album 2nd hand, and I consider that one of my best musical purchases, considering how much enjoyment I got from listening to it.
This has a special place in my heart:

(Less Than Jake - Gainesville Rock City)

This track has great memories for me of nights out at my local rock club, where it got played most nights; also, I found the lyrics resonated personally, as I think they explain the kind of situations which we've all been in at some point:

(Lit - My Own Worst Enemy)

This song has loads of memories of my final year at high school, when Sum 41 were one of my favourite bands, and due to having long highlighted spiky hair I often used to get likened to the lead singer:

(Sum 41 - Fat Lip)

This track came up in my YouTube recommendations tonight, and it has many memories for me from the summer(specifically July) of 1998, when I remember the song getting played on the radio most often.
It's always been one of my favourite easy-listening tracks:

(Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight)

I've been drawn to the rhythm, beat and melody of this song ever since it first got released, and I've always found the lyrics biographical too:

I've always found this an exceptionally powerful and beautiful song which has resonated with me personally, and it has haunted me at times too:

Eagle Eye Cherry, looks like a soulmate I have. That song makes me think of him.

Aw, sounds cool Smile Especially if it brings you nice thoughts, as it looks from how you've written the post.

It's a song that's always tended to get into my head, even when I haven't actually heard it for ages - one of only a fairly small number of songs which do that.

I think the dark hair look can be very attractive too, and the draw can be very strong - I've always liked women with very dark hair. (As it turns out, I've always been drawn to Neneh Cherry - musically and in terms of looks!)

That sounds like a very profound thought - that exact combination of feelings cuts very deep for me, always has.
Hope the feelings are more good than bad.

A track which forms part of the soundtrack of my life itself, as it's the song which has been used as the soundtrack of F1 TV coverage in the UK:

(Fleetwood Mac - The Chain)

A great song for dancing to, which was one of my first experiences of connecting with the Latin sound and vibe, even if it was pretty commercialised. It's never haunted me, but I've always loved its beat, sound and vibe - and I've always tended to associate it with September too, as it was released in September 1999:

(Shaft - Mucho Mambo/Sway)

One of the songs closest to my heart. This track made a profound impression on me when it originally got released(August 2004 in the UK), and I remember being drawn to it for no particular reason. As time has passed, personal experiences which I've had have increasingly put me in mind of it, and I now consider it to be one of the songs which I connect with best - in terms of energy and vibes, as well as the lyrics, which I consider hauntingly beautiful and heartfelt:

(Ash - Starcrossed)

This song has been haunting me lately, it's been in my head a lot for no particular reason, and I've also happened to hear it playing on the radio a lot by chance, most recently playing on the radio in the taxi I was in the other day. The powerful emotions which it inspires - particularly the opening part of the track, before the opening vocals - suggests that the song speaks directly to my soul, although I'm not sure why right now. But there's clearly a powerful connection with it:

(Justin Timberlake - Mirrors)

A song I was very drawn to when it first came out, and it's never really left my consciousness since. I find the melody and lyrics very powerful, as well as honestly descriptive of life situations which we tend to go through:

(Maroon 5 - Payphone)

This song has always struck me as particularly powerful, a melancholy song of the "H bomb" variety. It's one I've connected with strongly, ever since it first came out:

(Johnny Cash - Hurt)

This track(The Wheatus version - the original was before my time) has many awesome memories for me from the summer I sat my Higher exams and went to an insane number of house parties. In recent years I've found it particularly easy to sing too.
Either way, over time it's definitely figured in my life in various ways:

(Wheatus - A Little Respect)

I've always loved this, one of my favourite Muse songs, and I've always connected strongly with it, as it seemed to encapsulate my overall mood in January 2004, when it got released as a single. Also I've always been massively moved by the intro and the instrumental in particular, which I consider to be amongst the most powerful and emotive ones I've ever heard:

(Muse - Hysteria)

This song has always spoken directly to my soul, as I now know, having been profoundly drawn to it ever since it first got released as a single and got the corresponding radio airplay. It's the overall sound and melody which I'm drawn to the most:

(Kings Of Leon - Notion)

Heard this song playing in Asda recently, and it reminded me of a strong connection I used to feel with it during childhood:
