Agreed Ken. Perhaps they weren't invented for that reason but have been usurped by others.

VM/Omega you are starting to sound like Zach Sitchin. Only he knew the real meaning no-one else did. It's okay to have a different opinion just don't be so perjorative about it.

Really sort of tragic. But it only takes a generation or two of "followers" to totally screw up the narrative. So the job of a good avatar is to come along every 500 or 600 years and scream at the top of his lungs, "You've GOT IT ALL WRONG !!!" And the faithful want to throw rocks. Then they want to come up with an accommodation to the other faiths. Then they want to condemn everyone else on the planet. Then it's time for another avatar! And The Beat Goes On ... bom, bom, bombombombombombabomba ... !
