I've wanted to post this one for a while:



Less than a year ago, I found out about a past life I have(which powerfully influences this life), which ended very abruptly and unpleasantly in the summer of 1973. A couple of months later - in May of last year - I listened to this song on Spotify by chance, and a chill suddenly went through me - with many strong emotions - and I sensed it could be connected to my past life. I Wiki'd the song and found out it was #1 in the UK Charts in the early summer of 1973 - in what would've been the last couple of months of my past life.
I'm not sure exactly what the connection with it is, but I get the feeling it possibly might've been the last song I ever heard in that lifetime.

I was a racing driver in this past life. (This was actually confirmed to me by a friend, who correctly sensed which driver I was before I told her - if it wasn't for her confirmation when I told her who I thought I was, due to lack of self-belief I would've just thought it was wishful thinking on my part.)

I managed to get into Formula 1, but lost my life in a fiery accident in only my 2nd Grand Prix.
It makes a lot of sense to me, because ever since the age of 5 I've loved F1 and have been fascinated by it - I watch every single Grand Prix live, and I record as many races as I can too. I never knew why to begin with, but it's always been such an integral part of my life in this life.
Also I've always been fascinated by the 1970s, especially 1973/74. The culture, the fashion, the music - everything. I've always thought it was awesome, but it's also evoked a lot of strong emotions for me.

It's taken some getting used to for me - I've always thought of past lives as being distant in time. To find out I have a past life as recent as this has been pretty surreal...!

Really interesting stuff there, Lion especially with confirmation. I believe I also have a 'recent' past life but nothing that's been confirmed.

My real name is Ed, but I actually like Lion too - lions seem to be my spiritual animals, they keep haunting me, and I chose TrueCrazyLion as an online name years before I knew I was spiritual or had past lives.

That sounds cool that you have a recent past life too. In my experience, if your intuition tells you you had a particular past life, it can almost serve as confirmation in itself... Intuition is so powerful.

Sounds to me like TrueCrazyLion is the exact right name for you then. "Kaere" came to me when I was quite young. Funny how these things sometimes work, hmm?

I agree, intuition is very powerful. I'm still loathe to trust mine however, discernment is just as powerful but so much harder to quantify imo. Possible I complicate the issue too, that wouldn't be unheard of hahaha.

Agreed on the not trusting intuition fully, I think in my case it took me ages to start trusting my intuition because I was finding it hard to separate it from wishful thinking/false memories etc, so I decided to not trust it at all. It's only in the last year or so that I've started believing in it more strongly, and learning to relax and just feel instead of over-thinking things constantly, as I always did before when I tried to meditate or connect with past lives. (So I hear you on the complicating things!)

Kaere is a beautiful name - I'd never come across this name before I signed up on here. It seems like a classic name with Norse/Gaelic/Pagan connections to me... Very magical.

I saw "Kaere" and thought "that's how it's supposed to be spelled" (it sounds like my name Kari). It's a proper woman's name in some Scandinavian countries and in Danish it means "Dear".

First off, really sorry for taking so long to reply - I always meant to, but the last few months have been pretty chaotic!

Second off, the story itself is a really beautiful one, and I massively appreciate you sharing it.

I did sense when I first saw the name that it must be Scandinavian, and I just found it really striking in general.

Lately I've been very drawn to Ragtime and other music from that era, although I'm not sure exactly how or why yet(Also I'm aware that it's much harder to research tracks from that time since they're not so well known or documented, and recordings are rarer too... Working on it though!).
If I let music like that wash over me, I get a very surreal and profound but also magical feeling.

Tom Petty is a powerful one - I never really noticed his music much before, maybe because it was mainly before my time. But since he passed away I've seen a number of nice tributes to him involving recordings of gigs, and I've found his music to be both captivating and melodic, as well as speaking to me on a deeper level.
A great talent.

Blast from before the past...

It’s a bit surreal: I remember this song from childhood, I’ve always liked it and been drawn to it, but it had still kinda fallen off my radar in recent years.
But about 4 days ago, it started going round in my head. I didn’t know why it suddenly seemed to resurface from my subconscious, and I thought about posting it in my Playlist thread a couple of days ago, since I felt a personal connection with it too, but wasn’t sure why it had suddenly come to be in my head, so I hesitated:



Heard on the news today(Yesterday now). RIP Dolores. Such a beautiful, powerful, haunting voice. She’ll truly be missed.
(This song possibly connects with past life memories for me too.)
