There is some idea as to a Universal Stipend Bonus, likely taxes would be taken but it would be 2500 a month, if it is not enough for people, they can seek some part time employment to earn more money. It would also mean less spent for the Military (An M-1a2 tank is over 4million USD per tank), for an example. This would also mean the wealthy also would be taxed at a more fair to society rate as they have made well beyond most people due to the society, so giving back is a fair thing to be expected. Less corporate welfare, less hand outs for the uber rich, less spending for war.
If no such paycheck comes to compensate, then no one can buy the products made by the robots, economy collapses.
I can still displaced workers with picket signs "Robots took our jobs!"

Exactly Len. All the wealth in the world is worth nothing if no-one can afford the products or that wealth. Things only have a value when some-one else wants them.
