Being Bilingual has Advantages...
Apparently those who speak more than one language have a better chance of work and are happier!
Конечно, я говорю по-русски
Samozřejmě mluvím česky

Well, I have to agree! lol
In my house we speak 3 languages all the time, mainly English, then Spanish and then Italian. But my daughter is also studying French (which I speak a bit).
I agree that it makes you happy.... cause if you are like me and you like to talk to people, then it's handy cause you are not limited by geography!! hahaha

Funny, as on Sunday I was at a party, one of the lad's that plays for my son's football team. We have two Polish lads and one Romanian on the team. I was sat with the Polish parents and they were chatting away, I was thinking wouldn't it be great to have the ability to be fluent in every language. To be able to understand and speak to anybody on the planet.
I don't speak any other language. I did French and German at school but was never very good at languages to be totally honest. I have enough trouble pronouncing some English words!! My dad though spoke English, Welsh and German fluently, although he was dyslexic and could not write very well.

My Mum was multi-lingual and spoke 6 languages. She could read Cymric and Gaelic too. I only know two (other than Eng.).
