Quite interesting, Rockhopper. I've got a battery boost pack thinger that I have on hand for emergencies in the winter and I appreciate it sooo much.

However, given that the capacitor thingies don't come along with some groovy Marvin Gaye or Barry White... it's going to be hard to keep people's attention

Wow, excellent! The future is green indeed! (and red socialist   lol).

I like how energy is changing, look at this project, a massive battery to save renewable surplus energy, to be used when needed. 

I think the future will also involve using only electric cars. I think aviation is the one are difficult to convert to renewable energy.

I was in a Tesla last week for the first time ever, it was the taxi I got picked up by when I phoned one.
Really interesting car, very different feel to other cars, even other electric cars; I liken it to the difference between an iPhone and an Android phone in terms of functionality; for example, I'd never been in a car before where the door handles completely retract into the doors while it's moving, or where the centre of the dashboard is simply a touchscreen.
