Videos capture strange trumpet sounds coming from the sky —Experts can’t say exactly what it is

VIDEO clips from around the world, including Australia, have captured an evil sounding ‘trumpet’ noise coming from the sky — but no one can explain exactly what it is.

A number of people have filmed the bizarre sound over the past 10 years with the latest coming from Germany.

In the clip, shot last month, a young child can be seen frozen with fear after the strange sound boomed from the sky.

Canadian woman Kimberly Wookey has captured a number of these unexplained events, stating on YoutTube: “This is the second time I personally have heard these sounds here in Terrace BC Canada. First time was June 19th 2013 at approx. 9-9:30am but it was not quite as intense.

“On the morning of August 29th 2013 at approx. 7:30am I was awoken by these sounds. I shot out of bed realising it was the same sounds I had heard before.”

UK’s Metro reported that according to NASA, it could be the Earth’s “background noise”.

A spokesperson from the agency said: “If humans had radio antennas instead of ears, we would hear a remarkable symphony of strange noises coming from our own planet.”
Scientists call them “tweeks,” “whistlers” and “sferics.”

“They sound like background music from a flamboyant science fiction film, but this is not science fiction.

“Earth’s natural radio emissions are real and, although we’re mostly unaware of them, they are around us all the time.”

Weird! I know the Terrace one was traced back to a city worker using a grinder and the sound echoing off the mountains in a strange way but that doesn't explain away the others.

To be honest Rogue, I think the sounds are experiments created by a machine like HARRP, or sounds created by the LHC when they conduct some of their experiments. We have to take into consideration that we do not know what happens in our atmosphere when you inject particles we know nothing about.

CERN is using about 16 TeV to conduct some of its experiments colliding particles, what do we know about the effect of such high energy experiment. In the final analysis if the great scientists of the world cannot tell us what these sounds are we might be in for a surprise. They had better find out in case it could be detrimental to our health on the planet.

We know that sounds have frequencies that can reach up to 20 kHz in the audible spectrum, I do not think that would pose such a problem to trace the source. What do you think?

I have lived in a lot of places and never once heard such sounds. some areas have high levels of seismic activity, so some may be the rumblings echoing off clouds, but as said one instance was a device that was loud enough to echo and was traced to the man grinding some metal which likely was not well clamped and the metal hummed and gave it's noise off.

Some of the others could also be folks pretending to hear something as the video makers lay that same sound from the original over the new ones.
