Greece Rejects Austerity In Referendum
Greeks on Sunday decisively rejected a bailout deal proposed by the country's international creditors, which demanded new austerity measures in return for

emergency funds. The vote amounted to a stinging rebuke of the austerity measures imposed on Greece since 2010.
Greece's Interior Ministry announced Sunday night that it projects more than 61 percent of voters decided against the deal.
A win for the "no" camp would constitute a major victory for Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tspiras, who had campaigned heavily against the deal put forward by the European Central Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission. But it will also raise uncertainty about the country's financial future and its place in the eurozone.
"Even in the most difficult circumstances, democracy can't be blackmailed -- it is a dominant value and the way forward," Tsipras tweeted on Sunday night, adding that Greece intends to restart negotiations with Europe next week.

Thanks for the clip Tim.
I am just realizing how complicated both socially and politically these problems are. The EU as I am understanding, cannot willy-nilly throw Greece out from the federation of the Euro States, nor can Greece exit on it's own. In real terms the EU has a bigger problem now of holding itself together from total collapse, or it has to make concessions to keep Greece within the confines of the union.
Interesting times, not good, but interesting.
I have also just heard that Russia has stopped giving Ukraine gas. This could further complicate the whole matter. I think Greece has a very important secret card that it is going to play when the time is right, and I believe it has to do with Russia, and the BRICKS Nations.
