Jimmie Carter has Cancer...

Past President Carter has pancreatic cancer and is receiving treatment for it. Pancreatic cancer is a death sentence because it metastases (spreads by shedding cells throughout the body) earlier than some other forms and is often not detected until too late.

His siblings and his Dad died from it too. My deep condolences to him and his family.

Yeah, sad news. I do however look at it that he has had a along and interesting run though, a full life as some say/.

Contrary to a lot of people who think Carter was a bad president, I liked the guy. If any president loved America, it was Carter. I think he is OK, just hope he can go without too much suffering, if he has to go.
