^I agree Len and Rock! I was watching some of the debates last night and the more i see of Bernie, the more i like him! (i wish we could have him here in Canada!)

Well, Bernie actually won the debate last night, but the Mainstream Media are touting it as Hilary's win, despite many polls showing Bernie as the lead and Hiulary as 2nd place holder, Chafee got a measly 1%

I agree Len Bernie creamed the others including Hills. The MSM would never admit that though.

Yeah Sol, there is a serious need for more Bernies in the world. The UK have Corbyn (who gets treated by their MSM as an outcast).

There is no free lunch and no Free Market either. The Economy supports one group at the expense of the others. At present the Economy supports the rich at the expense of everyone else. That needs to change and soon.

Following the discussions on this topic I tend to agree that Bernie Saunders sounds the more real candidate. However I do not think he can make the changes that is needed. I also think he made a good gesture letting Hilary off the hook about the emails, but I think he made a mistake. This is what Hillary Clinton does and in my humble opinion he has to bring these points out and not dismiss them.

Let's just say that Bernie gets the top job. He will be up against the whole shebang! His enemies will all join together to block anything he tries to do. His main weakness is his lack of support in the Senate. If he can get some Senators onside he may be able to get some stuff thriugh.

The fact is he has shone the spotlight on what is wrong politically in the US.

For a two party Democracy to work the two parties must have policies that are diametrically opposite so people have a real choice. Both the Dems and the Reps are joined at the hip, they are effectively just one party. We have the same problem here.

Tim, we have to look at this thing in real moment time, although we have to express ourselves subjectively. America has led the world just as Hitler and all the rest of tyrants down a non sustainable path. The pied piper did the same thing. We cannot forget that, the main jest of the story is that the people did not want to pay what they had to pay. The Pied Piper being who he is, was scruple-less, he wanted money and was going to take what he calculated as value.
This is the main part of what is wrong, and why I say Bernie Saunders may become president but will not be able to save America.


As a boy when I heard the name America, I loved it, I did not know the history, or much, except what I heard and experienced in the cinema. For me it meant good things come from America, they had the smartest, kindest, fun loving, and richest people in the world. Every body wanted to go to America. Every country tried to copy America, every leader wanted their country to be like America. 


Evolution took America along another path, not a good one in a sense, as you know change was going to come. The problem started when the rest of the world did not see that they were not in sync with everyone else, the whole world life became American.
The people did not take up their responsibility to monitor themselves and their governments. 


It is easy to blame the government, or anyone else but yourself, and that is what is mainly wrong. Bernie can be as good, or bad as he wants to be, the answer lies in the people. If you ask me the people will not support Bernie if he makes the changes that is necessary to bring America back to it's senses.


If you say right and left are one, then his work is much harder. All of these countries that have followed western cultures, and followed non cultural exclusive economies, instead of inclusive, will fall in the same hole. The US congress participants must reflect the county, meaning America is a diverse society therefore the the laws must be equitable for all. Canada has somewhat the same problem, New Zealand, and many others.

Presidential campaign, Sanders wins, to get things done, more voting in the mid-terms must replace the nutters and do nothings with progressives that will help support the initiatives Sanders is speaking about.

Although I don't believe Sanders will be strong enough, I am very pleased at least he is speaking out. We have to pray if we think prayer can help that things will change.
