Cancer sucks big time! I know a lot of people that are battling with it at the moment, and now where I am working seeing people battling at the end, it's a horrible horrible disease

Thanks Solace, big hugs to you too. My mum's partners two daughters have both gone into remission, so fingers crossed. But I know a couple of people with terminal cancer which is very sad, they just don't know how long they have which must be the worst thing for them But I must say two ladies that are so inspiring and really don't let life get them down, when it easily could.

Thanks Stirks, that is great news about the remission! (fingers definitely crossed for them) Same here ie. knowing of some with terminal, it is so sad.... inspiring indeed though, living each day to the fullest cause none of us ever really know..

No, none of us know what is round the corner that is too true. We need to be grateful for what we have and enjoy life, that is what we are here for, to love and be happy.

I spent the last six nights sitting with people that are very ill, and they are scared and do not know what is going on. One of them said to me last night that he doesn't want to die and is scared. That is heart breaking to hear and very hard to try and do all you can to comfort them. Some of them have just had enough and want to go. But as hard as it is I know I am doing all I can to help them in their last days or weeks. So sad though. It makes you look at life with different eyes.

You are so right... and omg at what you are going through.. that is very hard and i really feel for you and them... I am so glad they have you though as i am certain you bring them a lot of comfort and loving energy.

I certainly try to, they all say I have a lovely smile and cheer them up lol. You get quite attached to them, and there are always plenty of hugs xx

They do indeed make you look at life differently, Stirks..... and isn't it such a blessing to be such a support for people in such vulnerable moment?

I was thinking about the last famous deaths and something is quite spooky... we have lost Lemmy (Motorhead), David and Alan in the space of two weeks..... 3 British..... same age (70,69 and 69) and all lost to cancer.
