Alignment of planets 2016

Amateur astronomers will have until January to prepare their viewing spots as the astonishing sight will be visible between January 20 and February 20 this year.

Just realised... the huge tsunami that hit Indonesia in December 2004 hit during the last alignment

Thinking we made it through relatively okay. There's that huge snowstorm and flooding in the eastern US though and the 7.1 earthquake in Alaska. Haven't heard of anything else just yet.
