Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
Nader is a Bernie backer, and he is exposing the Democratic Establishment as the corporate cronies that they have become, little better than the Republicans, and why voter turn out for Democrats has been so abysmal. But Bernie may cause the needed crack in the so called 2-party system which both sides of that coin answer to Billionaire/Corporate puppet masters who feed them that sweet money they so crave.
Ah yes, the Washington Post, mouth-piece for the corrupted, Establishment Democrats.

Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
I've been warming to Bernie, more and more reports of him here as he closes the gap on Hilly, and as the primaries get set to start.
But who is standing in the middle ground?

People here are tired of the Middle ground, or "establishment politicians" who work more for the Fat-Cat Corporates and their Billionaire owners

He also has "People power" behind him, and that many voters once thought to be solidly under Hilary are moving to Bernie!

I see that Iowa was down to a coin toss! And Hils won that toss. She has been raving on about how Iowa supported her and how she won that primary but without saying that it was pure luck not her policies that did the trick.

Yeah, she wants to blow off that she almost lost despite her nega-buck backers, the MainstreamMedia support and the collusion of the DNC establishment types. More of her support is slipping to Bernie though.

Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
That article is from last summer, when they were finally trying to turn things against Bernie. The Republicans have seen the numbers showing Hills having a slimmer chance to beat their guys, so, they wanted folks to pick her so the reps could have a stronger chance at winning the general election.
To steer the ship of state away from the way too far "right" and dangerous course it is on, so that we may have a better national civilization, Hillary is NOT the captain we need. Sadly, the far "right" has painted even a moderate/centrist path as almost "commernistical", as some would pronounce it..
All Bernie is wanting to do is get America back to a 21st century version of the FDR New Deal that fits this new century. The Republicans/Corporate Dems/Billionaires want us back to present day 1928 "gilded age"

Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
This is what I was saying Len. The books are getting thoroughly cooked.
Here.
Tim.
Sanders got bagged again in Iowa, this time by a state party chair, one Andrea McGuire. Like Schultz, McGuire’s specialty is high-dollar fund raising, and like Schultz she was deeply involved in Clinton’s 2008 campaign. Under the esoteric rules of the Iowa Democratic caucuses, and after a string of lucky coin tosses, Clinton eked out a 700.52 to 696.86 margin, not in votes cast but in a mysterious commodity known as “delegate equivalents.”
We’re electing a president, not the senior warden of a Mason’s lodge. All evidence indicates Sanders won the popular vote. It isn’t a minor point. If the public knew he won the only vote anybody understands or cares about, Clinton wouldn’t be “breathing a sigh of relief,” she’d be hyperventilating. McGuire refuses to release vote totals. She says keeping them a secret is an Iowa tradition. So what if it is? As with debates, the stakes transcend the candidates’ interests. In an editorial headlined “Something Smells in the Democratic Party,” the Des Moines Register, which endorsed Clinton prior to the caucuses, wrote:
What happened Monday night at the Democratic caucuses was a debacle, period… the refusal to undergo scrutiny or allow for an appeal reeks of autocracy.

Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
Yeah now they say his lead in NH is smaller than before, so the powers of corruption strive again, but NH is different in how they do it than Iowa is with their delegates/super delegates, NH will be different. But the people know better, and the machine is learning as they are demanding a recount in Iowa

Latest from a local paper makes it sound like shenanigans went on in Iowa
Tonight however is New Hampshire, Bernie is expected the win there, as with sadly Trump.
Who in the still massive red camp(Republicans) will rise, who will fall? that remains to be seen.
There are several potential drop-outs if they fail in NH tonight.

Yep, I see that the Bern creamed New Hamp. Now it's on to Sth Carolina. Be interesting to see how well he does there. Lot of Fundies in that State.
They are wanting an open re-count in Iowa I hear too.

Yep, it appears the "Establishment" Dems were trying to flip things in Hills' favor, but there is more to this election cycle than they would like to see. Bernie may force the Dems back to their progressive roots as the "people's party" instead of the ne-liberals which are more conservative and pro-billionaire than they like to admit.

Re: Will Bernie Feel the Bern?...
We are already seeing the down and dirty comments flying Len. Terms like; "Vagina Voting", Communism, and that Hills has the right to be Pressie (she does but she has to earn it first) because she's a woman not because she will be any better than Bams of Bushie. We will see more of these tantrums as time goes by.

She even had the gall to invoke Henry "Killinger" Kissinger as her alleged foreign policy mentor! And the minorities are shifting away from her alleged "lock-down" of their votes.

The black vote looks to be an interesting one if Bernie can turn the tide there a little more.

Rogue, it seems Bernie is gaining more down in SC as folks want more than "status quo" Hilary is promising.
