Tuesday, September 30, 2014, 10:44 AM - Firefighters in Washington State really took "above and beyond" to heart while battling a blaze on Friday.

When the men, from the Lacey Fire Department, entered the home, they found two adult hamsters and three baby ones in the living room.

According to reports from KTLA, the two adults seemed all right, but one baby was not moving and two others were "sluggish."

Those two were placed in an oxygenated plastic bag, while the unconscious baby was fitted with a tube from a oxygen kit.

"We have a whole aid kit we use in house fires that fits dogs and cats. We don’t have anything that small, but we’re pretty good at improvising,” Battalion Chief Hulse told KTLA.

One of the four didn't make it, but the others were apparently doing fine.

The incident happened at a mobile home around 3 p.m. local time, according to the LA Times, and the fire seems to have begun in the laundry room.

The fire happened while no one was home, and the homeowner's two children were at school.

It seems the children really love their pets. Firefighters found them in the living room, next to a "marriage certificate" filled out in crayon.

"Apparently they were married ... The family had made a marriage certificate for Oreo and Madonna. It was pretty cute,” Hulse said in regards to the adult hamsters.

hahaha I always had a thing for bikers........ and Keanu Reeves.... so when I see a pic with Keanu riding his Harley it makes me go...... mmm.... lol

I’ve looked for this thread everywhere lately, as I remembered so well seeing it a long time ago when I first became a regular here - totally forgetting that it was here in the music forum! LOL!

I’ve been on a lot of forums, and I can honestly say I’ve never enjoyed being on a forum as much as I love being here with you guys. I’ve never felt so much part of a group, so much part of an online family.
