Re: The False Narrative of the Working Poor...
These false narratives are fed and fueled by think tanks/Institutes/and other such mouth pieces funded by the Billionaire class to justify their seeking the government remove social safety nets from under the poor and those who soon will be joining the poor. Worldwide recreation of the Versailles era, and we all know how well that ended for the rich buggerers in Versailles.
In the US they seek to make it so that the poor are seen living it up high on the hog as folks look at what others buy with a food stamp card. SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, it is a help to stretch out for food supply what one cannot afford on their meager wages. and hey, if that person is buying seafood with their own money and SNAP card, what time of year is it? maybe they are getting a birthday morale boost? or Holiday dish they waited a year for, but the incompassionates out there would have it believed the poor and working poor deserve only gruel, or the as mentioned in the video, unhealthy, cheap, but will cost more thru health issues crap on the store shelves. Just enough to go through life like a zombie on poor if any nutrition if they have their way.
It comes from the selfish "I got mine, screw all others" approach to life fostered by the Billionaires who seek to have the poor on each others' throats so they pay no heed to the way the rich are raping the economy for their own personal and selfish benefits. If yo see a poor person getting decent food, and feel they don't deserve it, then you may have fallen for the sociopolitical brainwashing by said organizations the billionaire pay a lot of the reserve money for, so to blind all to their darker natures.

I can't argue with anything you have said there Len. The world needs more Bernie's and Corbyns.

2016 is going to be dramatically different than 2015 politically and every other ally we can find. The definition of what progressive means is changing. The death of the Scalia will cause a big fight, and the way parliament function will also change. We very well might see the beginning of WW3 not to mention climate change, be it man made or natural.

To quote a well-used phrase Star, "We live in interesting times!"

Re: The False Narrative of the Working Poor...
Aye we do live in interesting times, what a twist to this vacation from immortality I am in. (This shell I have ascertained is my last part of that vacation before returning to the sleeping Dragon-shell).
Much is going on, and even a new game I play has a tinge as tank driving mercs resolve issues with rebel and other fractious groups for the UN as nations cannot do it.
the latest zeitgeist touches all aspects lately, and even the MSM cannot keep it at bay.
