It's by no means the weirdest thing to happen in this positively surreal 2016 election season, but it is certainly a sign of the times: A white-haired socialist presidential candidate is getting support of the form of pipes emblazoned with his image and campaign logo, with proceeds from their sale going to his campaign.

Of course, that septuagenarian class warrior is Democratic nomination contender Sen. Bernie Sanders, the only presidential candidate to openly call for marijuana legalization—and to file a bill to do just that, the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act.

I still stand by what I said earlier Len. Bernie won't get the nomination. Everything is stacked against him.

What he has achieved is a movement for change with one leader. That was the problem with the Occupy Movement before. Different groups with different agendas that were easy to divide and conquer. By having a single leadership the opposition can't break through it as they did with the Occupy.

Even if Bern doesn't make it he needs to keep the pressure up.

Bernie, and those of us who believe in his movement will not stop until it is over! He has shifted the thinking in America, as he also forced Hilary and others to start speaking of progressive issues as opposed to minimalist failure speak. He may still win due to the will of the people, but things are not going t be so simple for the establishment polis as they are shaken by what has happened so far.

Agreed in the most part Len. What concerns me is that Hills is another Bams, make all kinds of promises but if she gets in will quickly fall into line and nothing will change.

Bernie is very popular with the younger Demo's but the older ones are more Hills voters. Bernie has to get them on board.

He hasn't connected the the Black Causus either and needs to get them alongside.
