According to this site dandelions are the epitome of healthy goodies. Yup, I eat dandelions in salads, omelettes, and a tea made from the roots. Not because it's so good for me but because I like it!

Not only the roots Ags, the seeds makes a wonderful coffee, very good for prostate, and bladder.

Thanks, Star, I actually drink the 'coffee', I still buy it now, my grandfather used to call it the 'fake' coffee of WWII, when the real thing was scarce and expensive. So in our family dandelion coffee has been a 'staple' since my grandparents were young... I will tell my dad about the prostate benefits, thanks for that.

There is a clinical trial going on right now in Canada to test dandelion root extract on cancer, as it worked really well in petri dish and mice. Hopefully it will work in a human body as well.
