The US highest dam is having issues with the spillway eroding out. Water pouring over the emergency spillway.

Yep, infrastructure left to rot as we have a government under the control of companies addicted to war.

I saw some of it on the news, pretty crappy way to find out your system doesn't work... on the first attempt to have to use it! I hope everything works out okay for everyone, apparently they're going to try filling the hole in the spillway with rocks to help keep the erosion down (and keep the hole from getting bigger).

Yep Ka. Apparently there was a crack in the concrete spillway and the force of water going down forced it apart. Big goolies will help in the meantime.

This is one of those amazing disaster stories.. but in 'real' life.

I am a little skeptical about the safety of that dam, because the weather has changed and because it is damaged it might happen again. It is no longer as strong as it was, lets hope for the best.
