I don't think we are going anywhere, if we go anywhere it would not be different than here on earth. We have yet to understand this planet, everything else is a dream.

I'm all for it.

I hope that some colonies will test alternate political economic systems. A system with elements of participatory direct democracy as well as venus project/moneyless system/resource-based-economy elements would be challenging yet interesting to develop and improve imo.

I really do not see anything stopping us from doing that right here, except ourselves.
We need to know some more about self and mind.
