Yes, I think it's probably becoming inevitable for many reasons. Hopefully it doesn't cost too many people their jobs.

I think that's what most people worry about regarding robots doing certain jobs: humans becoming either unemployed or not needed any more.... and some worry Terminator will become a reality (or AI).

Yes, when you consider the hacking that goes on with the internet and computers, imagine someone taking control over an army of waiter robots!!!

Brilliant idea for helping get around the social distancing issue too.
We had a restaurant in Dundee city centre where robots served customers, it opened last year, although I never actually visited there before Coronavirus shut everywhere down. If it’s back open again after this craziness is over I’ll definitely want to visit!
