Re: Biblical Archaeology ..
the middle class aspire to be rich one day, deluded that they have a chance to be so high up the parasite food chain
I think you just summed up our DC government. Ever heard of insider trading? Congressmen and Senators get the next day's Commerce Business Daily announcements from the government 24 hours early.
Re: Biblical Archaeology ..
Yep Ken. That was a point I was making before; those who we elect are those whose names are put up by the parties. That is; those who will do the bidding of their masters -- hint we are not the masters!

Aren't they all powered by greed?
New world order = Monotheistic religions = the root of all evils.
The idea of a ONE GOD, one male God to be more exact, was the perfect idea to suppress and make the masses dumb. Women suddenly became the lesser gender. People had to follow certain idiotic rules or they would go to hell. All stopped thinking.
The day the ancient religios were banned was the day we all become less open minded and became puppets in the hands of those with power. And 2000 years later you can see the fruits of that tiny seed that was planted, just look around you and tell me the masses are not zombies!
Monotheism, with its harsh rules and the prohibition and denial of knowledge to its people, with its jealous, harsh and vindictive male gods, have enslaved more people than any other idea... and without the use of chains as people are happy to enslave themselves.
Monotheism is the new world order that keeps us slaves and in the dark, the one and real crime against humanity.
And I pray every day that people will finally wake up.

Re: Biblical Archaeology ..
I once asked a sage how I would know the real God and his-her own from the counterfeit, because it struck me that nearly every person and every nation is sure they are on the right side regardless of how it might look to the rest of us.
He said: Our God asks for nothing, but
advises us to get to know ourselves to become closer,
tells us to live a healthy and fruitful life,
to tend and love the land that will reward us with sustenance,
build no temple,
need no priest as mediator;
speak and we shall listen;
listen and you will hear.
I can't imagine the tithe collectors feeling all warm and fuzzy over his answer ...

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
“The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
“The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

Biblical archaeology
Biblical archaeology is an archaeological science!
Biblical archaeology involves the recovery and scientific investigation of the material remains of past cultures that can illuminate the periods and descriptions in the Bible, be they from the Old Testament (Tanakh) or from the New Testament, as well as the history and cosmogony of the Judeo-Christian religions. The principal location of interest for this branch of the archaeological sciences is what is known in the relevant religions as the Holy Land, which from a western perspective is also called the Middle East. Even though the main reference points of biblical archaeology are mainly theological and religious, the study of these references is a methodical science. The scientific techniques used are the same as those used in general archaeology, such as excavation and radiocarbon dating among others. In contrast, the archaeology of the ancient Middle East simply deals with the Ancient Near East, or Middle East, without giving any especial consideration to whether its discoveries have any relationship with the Bible.

I couldn't agree more. We don't need 'holly men' and 'holly books' with their ridiculous man made rules and laws, we just need our souls to connect to the higher power that surrounds us all. We just need our hearts to love. And to always remember we are connected to everybody and everything else.

The key is connecting to the higher power. Consciousness comes from outside ourselves, not from within.

Yod Hey Vav Hey was verboten.
I believe it was St. Clement who said
it had a secret spelling too ... I A O U E.
But there are other names
that should not be spoken
of his ... fallen brethren.
