Very interesting! My question is: why is it always American forces that witness things like this?

I am thinking new Chinese or Russian technology.

If you look at the UFO reports website, the US is #1 in sightings reported. In Europe two countries have the most reports: UK and France. Here is the map of Europe: UFO Sightings Map: Europe, all dates (archive.org)  

Here is the map of the Western Hemisphere:  UFO Sightings Map: Western Hemisphere (archive.org)
Then check the Eastern hemisphere map and compare. 

So why the US? Why UK and France mostly and not Germany? Why do 'UFOs' concentrate on those countries?
Is this showing UFO sightings are a social or cultural phenomenon? Or are UFOs secret aircrafts from countries that are trying to spy on those three countries?
