It was meant to be the strongest here last night but nothing... a gorgeous orange moon though. We had lots of cotton ball clouds but still lots of room for the sky to peek through and... yeah, pretty much nothing.
But the adventuring part of it was great!

This is an indication of the range of sight for the Aurora up north.
The green line is the max limit!
Apparently the Carrington Event in the mid 1800's was seen as far south as Spain Stirks! According to reports it lit the sky up over London like daylight!

Tonight the lights have been so bright and close, just beautiful. I've been watching them from my bedroom window! They look like they're swimming through the air... no wonder there's been stories and legends about them from so many different cultures.

They were spectack here in Queenstown. Like multi-coloured curtains hanging and slowly moving in the breeze. Very low down though.
