I've said this before, we are made of stars

Of course we are..... I have been following Neil De Grasse for years, he is my favourite physicist (followed very closely by Brian Cox).

The first time I heard him saying the above, I thought:

'Why do we look outside ourselves to look for the divine and magic? When it's all inside of us?... we are divine..... we are magic....'

I used to have his words as my signature a while back:


"We are connected to everything and everybody:
To each other biologically
To the Earth chemically
and to the Universe atomically..."

Yes we are Ags and Stirks. What we are made of comes from huge stars that went bang! Stardust!

We will eventually return to stardust again too.
