Aye, I have been aware of this issue for a few years as back in early 2000's it was mentioned. Too many docotrs handed out prescriptions to patients for anti-biotics, these patients then in their own ignorance would save their last few doses as soon as they felt better thinking to save the rest for a "rainy day".
Hospitals also using anti-biotic soaps and cleaning agents, if it is that any bacteria or virii survive, well, now we have problems.
Then all soaps with anti-biotics used in homes when normal soap sufficed, but the germ fearing consumers wanted what the hospitals had.
now we are at 2014 and the outlook is for new stronger strains that eat anti-biotics for breakfast will rip through the human species due to all factors stated.

I agree Len. Peeps are too clean today and that feeds the superbugs. We only use ordinary soap and white vinegar for cleaning in our house. Bleach is used in the more important places like the toilet, that's all.
Can't beat ordinary soap and a bit of elbow grease!

That and the constant low levels of anti-biotics fed to stock, and the genetic markers placed in GM crops is an antibiotic resistance. In many ways we have been breeding for extinction for some time.
