Quite amazing, Rock 
...I'd have to let others do the touristy thing while it's that active, but I think a helicopter tour would be pretty excellent too.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 has struck north of White Island this afternoon.
GNS Science says the 2.57 pm quake was at a depth of 24 kilometres in the Bay of Plenty, 95 kilometres north of White Island.
It was felt most around along the Coromandel east coast from Little Bay in the north to Whangamata in the south.
