If the universe is basically just a computer program, then who wrote it? Where did it come from?

There is still much we have to learn about the Universe QS. It still behaves according to the Laws of Physics but about 99% of the mass is missing the so-called "Dark matter".  There are particles that travel faster than the speed of light and can not go slower and other particles that travel at the speed of light and can neither go faster or slower.

So much to learn -- so little time!

According to Quantum physics our universe may just be a computer program.... and who knows?

After all we have lots of theories about the universe, but no certainties and we have contradictory ideas all over... about how old it really is..... about whether it is expanding or not... about black holes and dark matter... but isn't it fascinating when a new theory comes out? To me it is.

It is indeed Ags. Actually they are hypotheses until they are proven one way or the other, not theories.

The main prob. with the Universe is that we can't really experience it by being fully immersed in it. We are on a cocoon floating by.

So what's a theory then?

In scientific terms it's something that has evidence to back it up Ags. Usually some-one comes up with a hypothesis and then others check it and experiment it until it's either proven of not. If it's proven then it becomes a theory.

In general terms it's an idea.
