500-Million-Year-Old Sea Creature... Arthropod-fossil-2

Scientists have unearthed extraordinarily preserved fossils of a 520-million-year-old sea creature, one of the earliest animal fossils ever found, according to a new study.

The fossilized animal, an arthropod called a fuxhianhuiid, has primitive limbs under its head, as well as the earliest example of a nervous system that extended past the head. The primitive creature may have used the limbs to push food into its mouth as it crept across the seafloor. The limbs may shed light on the evolutionary history of arthropods, which include crustaceans and insects.

"Since biologists rely heavily on organization of head appendages to classify arthropod groups, such as insects and spiders, our study provides a crucial reference point for reconstructing the evolutionary history and relationships of the most diverse and abundant animals on Earth," said study co-author Javier Ortega-Hernández, an earth scientist at the University of Cambridge, in a statement. "This is as early as we can currently see into arthropod limb development."

If I recall correctly, it was a pretty good sized sea creature, and would be scary to encounter due to the look of it and it's size. close to a full meter I think?

How many precession of the equinoxes is 500 million years? How many cycles of time?

Of course you two 'believe' in linear time, a beginning and an end, just like what the bible preaches.

Linear time

VM/Omega that is observably false. Take a human, it's born, grows, matures, gets old and dies. It doesn't get older then younger then older again in a circular time frame, it's a straight line if you wish.

The concept of time has nothing to do with the bible either. It is simply a measurement of the passage of the planets around the sun. All things get older not younger as time goes by. Seasons go through cycles at a steady rate and will continue to do so until the Sun fries the planet whether Humans are here or not.

Time is a manmade concept.

Ever heard of Westing.......... (no word for death).

The sun dies every night and is reborn again the next morning. RELIGIOUS BELIEFS rockie.

Yep the belief that the sun dies each night and is reborn is a religious belief VM/Omega.

The sun is always shining on the Earth somewhere each day. But of course you know that. And knowing it just contradicts that statement.

Further it has nothing to do with the fossil that was found.

Linear time works for the most part as Mortal beings exist that way.

I also still am aware of and see fluidic time,, I cannot prove it with what I know, but, Quantum guys may have also started to work on investigating it.

Basically, to swim about in fluidic time also has fixed points, incapable of alterations, appear as islands in the oceans of time I recall from my Dragon/deity time.

I can only let folks think about such concepts as I spout off about at times, I do not expect to be believed, nor can I directly prove that which is beyond human ken.

Exactly Len and no argument from me there either. There may be other time functions but there is no evidence that they exist.

The old Star Trek Warp Drive bent time and space based on a Hypothesis that it could be done. The hypothesis postulates that if you were to put a small mark on each end of a sheet of paper and then bend the paper the ends come closer together and the distance between them is shortened. The Quantum boys and girls are working on it so watch this space.

Which is why I have said many times that no Scientific Theory is set in stone. They change as new info comes along.

Exactly, hence why I do not insist that peeps take my word for it as I know they won't, and it is difficult as normal Human time perception is a tad limited.

Ah, space folding, much older idea than Star Trek. Man I loved the Hard science fiction authors and the very thoughtful ones as I read their tales in anthologies in my school library, it had a very decent science fiction book section.

Science can be flexible, yes. I will be tickled when they find out how much older the Universe is, they are pretty close presently. Same with the age of the planet. Hint: It is NOT merely 6,000yrs old like Ken Ham and his ilk say it is.

How old is your soul?

Are you eternal?

Why the fire of Hell?

To the last, Dragon fire

My soul is quite ancient, I have mentioned this many times, but I also expect none to believe me when I speak of such things, LOL!

I helped sing this 'verse into existence, and when this shell passes away, I go back to work, and back to my immortal shell out in space, sleepy vacation time is coming to a close, I have a few years only to go left for vacation time, reincarnation has been a fun breaking from eternal existence. Wink
