Just plain old cane sugar here.
of course due to the years of embargo on Cuba we went silly and did sugar beets for sugar.
Corn then, and the flavor is different. If it says "Sugar" then it used to be beets.

Sugarbeet here is mainly used in animal feed, it is a good food for horses, I used to use it a lot. Also farmers will feed it to cows, but yes some crops are used for sugar.
Caster sugar is a form of cane sugar, it is just more refined than granulated sugar (hence why it's used for baking).

Well, they can get cane sugar imported from other countries that make cane, but we use refined sugar from the beets....and I hate the whole over use of corn syrup
But sugar to replace the sulfur for home made black powder, very interesting.

Just as a point of interest, castor sugar is what we would call 'berry sugar'... if you take some regular granulated sugar and whiz it up in a food processor or blender, you'll get castor sugar I had to figure it out once upon a time when I was making a recipe from the uk.

Hmmm, faster than sulfur laden black powder, more so with the dextrin

But yeah, for some, guns have become to adults what barbies and GI Joes are for kids. Go figure.

I don't know what to say, I think there has to some type of limit to everything. It seems to me that fancy guns deliver fatal bullets. The more fasionabe the gun the more devastating the results, I am sure kids will love to show off.
