Quantum equation - universe has no beginning Bigbang

(Phys.org) —The universe may have existed forever, according to a new model that applies quantum correction terms to complement Einstein's theory of general relativity. The model may also account for dark matter and dark energy, resolving multiple problems at once.

Although the Big Bang singularity arises directly and unavoidably from the mathematics of general relativity, some scientists see it as problematic because the math can explain only what happened immediately after—not at or before—the singularity.

"The Big Bang singularity is the most serious problem of general relativity because the laws of physics appear to break down there," Ahmed Farag Ali at Benha University and the Zewail City of Science and Technology, both in Egypt, told Phys.org

Ali and coauthor Saurya Das at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada, have shown in a paper published in Physics Letters B that the Big Bang singularity can be resolved by their in which the universe has no beginning and no end

To me personally it makes more sense, to think of a universe that has always been or is ever lasting...... I still cannot comprehend the 'we came from nothing' cause nothing is a vacuum and vacuum has nothing to create all this...

But so far they still have only theories, or hypothesis...

Yes it makes a lot of sense, time itself doesn't really exist in the way we think it does anyway. It really is so much for the human brain to comprehend but it is something we as the human race never stop wondering about. We have to have all the answers, but to some things there just is no answer, we just have to trust in what we believe.

I used to wonder when I was little (about 4) what was outside our universe, I used to drive my parents and teachers mad with this question lol. I remember being at school and looking up the staircase and through the window at the top, wondering 'what is out there' 'what is beyond all we know, as there can not be nothing?' But where did it start and where does it stop???

This is a new and fascinating hypothesis and could well be proven over time.

We didn't "Come from nothing" Ags. The BBT postulates that all the matter and energy in the universe shrunk back into one big lump which went bang! The basis of it is that all the galaxies are moving away from each other so, when we take it backwards, it all condenses into one big unstable pile! It's possible that it has done so forever, constantly expanding to a given point, collapsing back again, going bang and the process continually repeats itself.

The measurement of time is a Human construct and is simply the period between when something starts and when it finishes. Be it the BBT or the latest horse race.

Present cycle for the 'verse as Human time understanding goes is 20billion or trillion years. Just a blink to some, and I see rectangle is spiral fixated still.
