Meteor in the Sky North Island...

Apparently a meteor zipped across the sky over the North Island. We didn't see it down here but.

I forgot to mention here, that in talking with family that they said they all had seen this amazing flash of light in the night coming through blinds and whatnot, and then followed several minutes later with an enormous sound like an explosion.

Evidently it really got people very anxious and concerned at the time. Thank goodness for the immediacy of talkback radio!
