Some interesting concpets, but such limited range for many of them. The hybrids better tank up as they will only run a few kliks on their batteries

Indeedy Len. Battery technology needs to advance faster to give them a decent range.

True, a battery that can go w/o a recharge for 150 or so miles would be a real seller!

The first "production" cars were electrics Len, around 1900. 4 tons and 20 mile range. But I suppose that 20 miles would have been a challenge at that time considering the state of the roads!

Did you know the brits had a 4 mph speed limit at one time...

The development of the automobile had been retarded in Britain by a law that set a 4 mph speed limit for “locomotives” driven on the roads and required the “locomotive” to be preceded by a man on foot carrying a red flag.
