Re: Little Bastards
LOL, totally!
My current neighbourhood is full of both seagulls and crows - honestly, it's like there's a plague of them there. From dawn till dusk they're noisy too - especially the crows, which never seem to shut up. One time a few weeks back, I got a breakfast roll out of the Bakery on my street and had to go into a bus shelter to eat it because the crows were literally swooping and trying to grab the roll out of my hand. One flew past me at head height and actually flinched towards the roll, and missed it by about a foot.
It was like being in The Birds! :-/

Re: Little Bastards
I actually witnessed a seagull-fight the other night, first time I can remember seeing anything like it.
I was in the car park outside the supermarket, waiting on a taxi I'd just phoned, and I noticed a group of them in front of me. Then one seagull grabbed another one by the neck and pinned it down, and after a few moments two others started furiously pecking the one being pinned down, before it managed to escape and fly off.
Pretty nasty TBH.

Awww not their fault.... and it's very difficult to get sick even after touching a seagull.
I guess they are the 'rats' of the 21st century lol

Re: Little Bastards
LOL at finding the curry-covered seagull, that must’ve been the biggest letdown - a bit like finding an envelope in the post which looks like it’s telling you you’ve won the Lottery, and then finding a TV Licensing letter inside it.
And it smelt too... How gross!
I’ve heard that in Peterhead(Town in northeast Scotland) seagulls have actually been made into curry before now, and “scurry curry”(Seagulls get called “scurries” in parts of Scotland) has been popular there... This reminds me of that, LOL.
