The most I was thinking for security, and hunting as we have game around here, was a shotty, and a lever action rifle. Pretty much cowboy era design rifle. No modern military weapons as some freak about. I see guns as tools. Here however, many folks have as many guns as say half dozen pistols and almost a dozen long arms or more. some own enough guns to arm a platoon!
