Alma comes from Finland, she's a little different and she's topping the Finnish charts...

From the UK, Yorkshire to be precise... Eurielle is a fascinating artist whose music redefines the Crossover Genre. Drawing influence from myth, legend, and fantasy, as well as our own human nature, her music will transport you into another world...

She may be from the US but she is making a name for herself around Europe. Number one in Switzerland, France, Italy.. she's known by her initials LP..

Australian artist PNAU isn't a newbie by any means individually  and is also well known as part of Empire of the Sun... but hitting the big time worldwide lately with this one.. Great video!

Jenn Grant from Canada, again not a new artist but an amazing talent. Jenn Grant's sound is dreamy, harp-and woodwinds folk.

Re: Rogues New Music Playlist
Just had a thorough listen to this playlist, and it's quality stuff. I'm a big fan of new music as I think it represents the future of music and what direction music might end up going in, and I think artists like this are often better than the ones who've become well known in terms of sheer talent. You seem to be good at spotting them!
Personally I think Sam Perry just edges it out of the ones you've shared so far, that layering of music using sound loops is a genre in itself IMO, and it's just awesome.

Cheers TCL, nice to hear your thoughts about new music and new artists, I totally agree.
Yes Sam is pretty amazing. He has entered The Voice here which is causing a bit of controversy, due to the looping rather than basic singing. I reckon he has a very big future ahead of him.

Cool Yeah, I think it's easy to forget that all the songs we think of as tried and trusted classics now were once just as new as these. Think it's so important to keep supporting the new talent that's coming through.
Yeah, I can imagine that causing controversy, which ultimately is all good, as it shows he's breaking boundaries. The Voice is one of the talent shows I have more respect for, as it seems more genuine and less manufactured than the likes of X Factor - but it's cool that he's been challenging the accepted norms. I agree, very promising and talented artist.

Thought I'd give you an update on Sam. He's still in the contest and they're down to the final eight. He's got enormous public support, so he's already a winner whatever happens. In fact it almost seems like this years Voice pretty much revolves around Sam. I've got my fingers crossed that he can go all the way. It's great to have someone stir up the tried and true that's rolled out each year..

Hey, cool Didn't realise the competition was still going on, I'll start getting into it more I think.
It's great when someone breaks the mold like this. Hope he wins!

Re: Rogues New Music Playlist
I just Googled Sam earlier today to check how he was doing, and immediately thought of this thread... That's awesome!! Brilliant that he's won.
Hopefully this opens the door for more non-conventional acts to participate in these competitions and win them... He's done great!
