We're hearing on the news here that the fires have flared up again, and not too far from the oilsand refineries Crying or Very sad

It's true, the fire has been spreading and now the smoldering areas have flared up again. Several oilsands workcamps have been evacuated (no refineries there, thank goodness). Workcamps shut down means no oil being taken out of the ground or shipped or anything at all.

There's a fire to the NW of my city now, it's very smoky here... and Ft St John in BC has been partially evacuated as well.

We're expecting thunderstorms and rain for the next couple of days plus steady rain for a couple of days after that. Rained this morning for about ten minutes but dang it felt super nice.
