The Mandela Effect...

It is named after the instance in which a large group of people all shared the same memory that Nelson Mandela died prior to his actual 2013 death, usually some time in the 1980's." I found this interesting... (i was shocked at a couple of these..   )

Sorry girl but each wrong memory on the video has a simple explanation (I've been discussing this for a loong time with some other people).

It's always been 'NO, I am your father' but misquotations became frequent and then movies made it into a parody using first names, hence people have always repeated 'Luke'. Some of the parodies included Austin Powers the spy who shagged me and even Toy Story.

It's just like 'Beam me up Scotty' which Kirk never said, they are misquotations which are very common, we just don't realize sometimes until somebody points them out.

It always did, the problem is that all toys and illustrations had two golden legs, so our memories got confused. Human memory is far from perfect, unfortunately, and it only selects what the brain think it's important and fills the gaps anyway it can, not necessarily with real events.

Thanks for your insight on this Aggie, intriguing really.. cause even the bible part, I was sure it has always said "lion"..Wolf just doesn't sound right... ~shakes head~ This effect is messing with me lol..

I don't really know about the Bible bit, but the NZ map is crazy.... I don't know of anybody who's ever said they flew from Australia to NZ flying northbound.

I think bad spellings, bad pronunciations and bad memories are causing all the Mandela effects (Berenstein bears, Interview with the vampire etc.).

What do you think is causing it?

I honestly don't know...glitch in the matrix? lol    This is new to me...Some of the things in the vid I don't have an opinion on, but I did have Berenstein Bear books.. (wish i still had them) "Berenstain" again just doesn't look right... Ah well, I love a good mind #$%!

I think they are making us crazy. Have you noticed that Brexit has removed Flat Earth from the internet? I think our eyes are not perfect, I think our memories are not perfect, it takes one person to notice something and everyone is noticing the same thing.I think Britten leaving the EU was planed because it brings more confusion. My mind will not accept the fact that anyone can withdraw such an important member of an organisation and don't expect chaos. The new one on the block is Mandela effect, help, Madness.
I am not saying that something like the Mandela effect does not exist, however they are making us crazy.

I am intrigued about this. I have a copy of the King James bible here and it definitely states "Lion".
I also have a copy of the New Age bible used by the fundies and it states "Wolf" Another biblical revision!

The video to my mind is another cranky conspiracy one.

There are hundreds of different Bible translations, each one of them change the context according to what suits them, and the experts do say none of them have been translated from Hebrew correctly. I am not surprised each Bible version says a different thing.

Hmm interesting Tim, I do wonder why they would change that detail..but as Aggie stated..  (and i tend to agree ie. conspiracy stuff running rampant again... but it did mess with me a little I admit..)

He is known as C3PO, they shifted the letters and numbers to CP3O on the side of the airplane at the early part of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
