Juno has reached Jupiter : It has now entered into a large elliptical orbit around the planet. Follow its mission as it surveys the the gas giant.

Very exciting indeed!!

A funny fact about Jupiter: all its moons were named after Jupiter's lovers. Now we have Juno (the spacecraft) whi h is now checking on Jupiter and its moons...... do you know who the mythologically Juno was? the madly jealous wife of the god Jupiter! And even as a satellite she's still checking on him!
