A little trick we used to do was fill a big balloon with Hydrogen, tie a candle on the bottom on the end of a fuse. Then light the candle and let it float away out over the sea. The candle burnt down to the fuse which set off the H2 with a brilliant blue flash!

Had peeps from miles around thinking we were being invaded by aliens! We would snigger at all the commotion it caused!

UFO's are just that--Unidentified Flying Objects.

Light is nothing more than EMF at a particular band of frequencies, no different from the power we use in our houses. The only difference is the frequencies they work at. Nothing godlike about it.

Who said there was nothing Mr. W? According to the BB theory it started with singularity. All the matter in the universe was at one single point then went blam!

Sound can't travel through a vacuum either, it needs a medium to travel through. We know of something similar with 'Black Holes', a place where gravity is so strong that not even light can escape. If we were to take all the matter in the Universe and squeeze into one tiny space we would have the biggest Black Hole we never did see! We wouldn't see it because we would be a part of it.
