So I just spent an hour researching Harvard and they have never said such a thing. This is why the video is just a voice saying lots of things without anything to back up what they are stating as true. And the video is from May 2013, they would have published something by now if it was true.

Marilyn, this is a hoax created by a satirical website called The Daily Currant.........this is why there are no articles from Harvard anywhere at all. The Daily currant creates hoaxes on purpose.... this is how they describe themselves on their webpage:

Scientists have found something they call 'The God sequence' or the God particle, which is the Higgs Bosson particle, which is not DNA. The Higgs particle has allowed scientiests to recreate a mini big bang.

I don't do that, VM, like I never call other people's names when they disagree with me....   

I went to research as it was interesting, although my gut feeling told me immediately it could not be true, but I never discard anything like that, I always try to see what I can find about it.

And, whatever it is, I think Marilyn has the right to know what others have found about it...not to change her mind, but to make her aware of all other possibilities.

That is in no way rubbing salt on the wound. It's called illumination. I thought you were all about knowing the truth, you'd keep the truth from someone? The same way you say that tptb keep the truth from people? No one here is a child in need of such coddling.

I can not locate the papers from Harvard  for some reason they havs been removed . I could only locate a press release stating the findings will be published in the Journal Natural this month ..very curious as I have read thsm myself . As soon as I see them I will bring them over . I am ok with debate I actually enjoy it . I did read the research papers and just about everything else regarding the vid . The thing to consider is if media outlets such as CNN , ABC, NBC , Fox all ran the story it would come from a trusted source and being that they are normally good at reporting the truth I don't see them taking anything tg e Daily Current has to offer . The scientists who performed these studies are in various interviews as well . I think perhaps the storm that came with the press release caused Harvard to pull their backing . The research papers removed and the Dr.s striking out on their own to republish their findings . I am anxious to see them again and get them up and will keep an eye out .  I will say this as well , if it comes out from the scientists that performed the research that they made it up then I will accept that . I do not put too much weight on a few hoax links regarding the topic . There is way more out theee about it being true then untrue .  No matter what I keep an open mind because an open mind is a beautiful thing ...

I understand that I could be wrong but I'm ok with that and  I appreciate your input though and continue to look forward to your ideas and views . Religion/faith means something different to every person. That's why there are so many differing groups out there. Each say that their one is the one true belief/religion. Who's to say that they are right?

Even here on this 4um you get so many differing ideas.
