I see the future as a tree with branches that are just tiny blossoms, but only some will become branches.......

I don't know......many theories around, one of them is that our ancestors were actually 'us' from the future.......what if that's true?

If we look at time in a linear way, no, i't not the same:

From the past: your great x 100 grandfather was your great x 100 grandfather..
From the future: your great x 100 grandfather really was your great x 100 grandson.
