Great response Aggie, sounds like this song triggered both of us!

For me it was the summer when I finished primary school and got ready to start secondary school that this song was getting played loads on the radio, and I can remember so many things which I used to think and feel listening to it, such as thinking that certain lyrics were deep or random or just amusing.  I guess it shows what different stages of life we were at in 1995! 

(And just so you know, I currently wish I’d been born earlier so that I could’ve been a younger adult during the 90s; it seems to have been an amazing time to have those personal freedoms, I really feel like I missed out by 15-20 years or so! LOL)

But that was an incredible flashback I had last night when I was in the café with my food and this song came on… When the song began playing I was already in a daydream, and suddenly, as the music hit my eardrums, I began seeing the inside of my old bedroom; the beige wallpaper, the white-painted wardrobe with its slatted doors and white bookcase which both used to face me while I was sitting on the bed; the light brown patterned carpet; everything exactly as it looked in 1995. The images weren’t solid like looking at a photo, but they were incredibly clear and kinda superimposed on the actual images of the café which I was seeing for real, like a fade-in scene in a movie.

I haven’t had an experience like that listening to music for so long - years at least. It kinda moved me, as you can tell!

Yeah, two nights, different set lists, different double opening acts each night. Tickets available on Friday, oooooh I'm so excited

K, You are making awesome memories with them! And you ignite the passion for live music too, which is the best type of music. Are you going to see Metallica with your boys?

I'm not sure it's about the music being live, we all kinda like studio versions we can anticipate sounding a certain way. But the spectacle and energy will be very exciting

Yes, they both want to go, so I'll be trying to get some reasonable tickets when they go on sale. It's a two day concert so I'll need to book days off just to recover lol
