Another Plane Missing...

An Air Asia plane has gone missing on a flight from Jakarta to Singapore. Contact was lost during a storm.

I just read about it.... 162 souls on that plane, 16 children.... sad.

But this is another Malaysian airline.... and once again, with all the technology we have, we seem to have lost yet another plane... we still don't know what happened to MH!!

The pilots asked for an unusual route to avoid bad weather...

They are saying that they fear it was lost due to very bad weather and a number of thunderstorms in the area. But no distress call and nothing from it since the pilots asked to change course and fly higher to avoid the weather. It is odd, you think in this age they couldn't lose a plane!

Today they searched and found nothing and I really hope they do, cause the poor families of those in MH370 are still without any clues. Apparently there are some unconfirmed sightings of wreckage but they won't go back to search until tomorrow.

Yes I hope they find out what happened this time, must be terrible for the families never to know. So sad

There were very violent storms in the area at the time with cloud tops up to 50,000'. Dang that's high! 

Commercial planes fly at about 32,000'.

I hope they do find something to give closure to the families.

I also think they have to make the publick know that technology cannot solve all our problems. It seems there is a problem in that particular area of the world.

There have been reports of wreckage being spotted, but nothing has been confirmed as yet. Whatever happens, the MH370 is still missing after almost 10 months.

No they said the debris spotted is not connected to the plane, the search continues.

I havent' read the news again..... anything on the oil streaks they spotted yesterday?

According to Al Jaz the oil spotted was not from the plane Ags. No further news on it so far.

Better still Ags. let's look at realities; They are is going through it's Monsoon season right now and the storms through there can be very vicious! Just a guess but the plane could have been caught in a wind shear, a very violent wind that blows straight down or up under a building thunderstorm. The plane could have been forced down into the sea in a few seconds, not time for the crew to do anything about it. Apparently the pilot had asked the controller for a new flight plan because of the weather conditions!

Malaysia has just copped 1588mm of rain in the last two weeks, hence the flooding there.

Apparently debris has been spotted (including bodies ), by more than one plane/ship. They are going to the area they have been spotted to recover objects, they are already 90% certain it's the plane.

Yep Stirkles. Bodies have been found and recovered. Wreckage is there too.

My thoughts with their families, but at least they have closure... not like the passengers on the MH370.

Yes Ags. The 370 flight is a mystery and the families have no closure.

The worst flight I have ever been on was a flight from Atlanta to Houston and we were diverted to Gainsville because we hit a storm front. It was like riding a roller-coaster! That plane went through just about everything a plane could do and survive. That makes me wonder if this one was hit by a wind-shear!

Searchers have recovered 6 bodies so far. Apparently the sea is quite shallow there and so it should not be a problem recovering the blackbox. 

It's the mid monsoon season and the weather is crazy there.
