Is there no end to madness?

Today, I learned something new. It wasn’t something I wanted to believe was real or anything I had ever wished to learn but it entered my brain and now I can’t get it out: Parents are using bleach enemas/drinks to try to cure their children of autism. They force the bleach solution into their own children orally or via enemas — both of which can cause serious health issues. Parents report their children fighting, screaming and writhing in pain. The monsters who sell the product online say it’s a miracle cure. The sane population calls it child abuse.

I said some things in the comments under the article. Autism and related issues are a neurological issue, I still have Aspy traits I deal with. Parents that fall for this bleach crap are morons, and the spreaders of this snake oil trick deserve prison and removal of doctoral credentials!

I am speechless.... I simply cannot believe people really believe all that rubbish, like an enema is going to cleanse their kids of (I quote) 'metals and bacteria that are causing autism'.

If they had spoken to a doctor about it they would know that frequent enemas are dangerous and if you are not trained you can perforate the bowels and cause internal bleeding! In hospitals you need two signatures to administer an enema!
