Civil Indigent follows Francis "Pat" Fitzpatrick, tireless advocate for the poor and notorious court jester of City Commission meetings, as he leads the charge against the meal limit. From his daily protests at City Hall to his quixotic campaign for a seat on the City Commission itself, Pat is hardly a conventional advocate. He is boisterous and unpredictable, but always motivated by the belief that "someone's gotta speak for the poor."

He died just a few days ago. He will be sadly missed.
