They're cool Len and when I win Lotto I'll definitely invest in one or two! In the meantime I'll have to stick with the old modded windpumps. They whoosh in the wind but other than that they are quiet.
Check with your local Fire Service and see if they have batteries for sale. The ones I have have lasted for 5 years now and are still going strong.
Even if you are living in a trailer there is still some things you can do. Several panels on the roof would be a start, they won't supply all your juice but will go a long way to make life easier and cheaper for you.
