Yes indeed it is, it does make you wonder exactly what they are up to. With the beheadings and warnings our nations, it does make you worry.

Apparently the most of the supporters of ISIS are telling the idjits to cool it down. The be-headings are just too over the top for them and it has backfired on them badly.

I can't see that ISIS will last very long and the majority of Sunni are moderates.

Let's hope so, yes it certainly is a small minority that has taken things to the extreme. But even the small minority can cause a viable threat, as they are so extreme and will go to any lengths.

Tim, I do not know how to analyze any of this information, there are so many different angles to this information that is based on believing what we read is actually true.

There's been a woman in Oklahoma at work who was beheaded...
http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/woman-beheaded-at-oklahoma-processing-plant-1.2025995

And a 19 year old man randomly ran out onto a soccer field in Newfoundland and stabbed an 11 year old player...

I do have to wonder if these are connected to recent calls for random violence and beheadings, etc by terrorist groups.

I hope you're right but I can't help but feel like things are being spun, lies & propaganda to keep people calm and not panicking in light of threats being made.

No, the ISIS calls were specifically for Muslims to kill non Muslims, so that is what ISIS is hoping.

Meat plants have the right tools for butchering and people do snap in America if life is not 100% for them.

sounds like the event in NS was also madness induced.

Yes sadly people can do terrible things if they are suffering with mental health issues and have slipped through the net. Either harming themselves or others. It does happen.

Soooo in this case the media is telling the truth but at all other times they're lying? Who says it wasn't muslims killing non-muslims and it's been spun into something else by either the media or the "powers that be"... after all, the "powers that be" are supposed to cover up all sorts of things, right?

I think if it's easy enough to believe they're fibbing about one thing, it's easy enough to believe they're fibbing about another.

At any rate, it was just a thought that ran through my head and I'm not particularly attached to it.

Edited to add - the man who did the beheading in Oklahoma is muslim.

http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/beheading-suspect-a-little-weird-oklahoma-mosque-spokesman-says-1.2027689

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A spokesman for an Oklahoma City Islamic group says a man accused of beheading one woman and attacking another at a food processing plant from which he was fired was seen as "a little odd" and "a little weird" by those who attended the same mosque he did.

Saad Mohammed, director of information for the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, said Saturday that 30-year-old Alton Nolen began worshipping at one of the group's mosques in May and that he has seen him there several times since.

He says Nolen wasn't outgoing and that his behavior didn't raise any red flags.

Mohammed says Nolen attended services where sermons were delivered against beheadings like those committed by Islamic State militants. He says Nolen's actions do not reflect the beliefs of Islam.

Moore Police Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said Saturday that 30-year-old Alton Nolen remains hospitalized in stable condition. He says Nolen has regained consciousness and that investigators interviewed him.

Lewis says Nolen will be charged on Monday with first-degree murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon. He says Nolen could also face federal charges.

Authorities say Nolen severed the head of 54-year-old Colleen Hufford during Thursday's attack at the Vaughn Foods plant in Moore, near Oklahoma City.

They say Nolen was repeatedly stabbing another woman when a company executive shot him. That woman survived.

Australia has had several cases this last week. There has been an arrest of a person as part of a group supposedly wanted to behead random public persons. Another young guy shot dead as he attacked two police, supposedly he wanted to behead them.

Wel, even his Mosque says that he was a bit "weird" and they did have sermons to NOT go beheading, so maybe he is one who took that ISIS speech to heart? the soccer field 19yr stabber of the 11yr old seems more a severely disturbed youth. So we may have one case of a nutter listening to ISIS. The other a immature altercation that escalated seriously the wrong way.
