Strangely enough, after saying earlier on tonight that I thought I’d missed my chance to take any Full Moon photos this month, I went outside at 1AM to wait on my pizza delivery, and saw this:

This afternoon as I was walking home, I actually noticed the moon was nearly full(It was about 4PM, the sun had just set and the moon was rising). Made me think of this thread. Great to see the latest data burst of info! Smile

(For some reason I never replied to the last one or posted any photos, I think it was mainly overcast at night here at the time of the Full Moon last month, plus I guess I was struggling a bit with general motivation due to the November SAD blues.)

Hoping we get some nice clear nights this week so we can see this Moon and maybe get a few photos of it. Smile

Since I tend to be up all night every night, we’ve had a lot of clear nights, and my kitchen has a south-facing window, I’ve frequently seen the Moon outside at various points of the night over the last couple of weeks, and seen it going through its phases each night as it approaches full.
It’s been pretty cool to watch, TBH.

The moon was a beautiful sight rising through, and slowly above, some big fluffy white clouds this evening as I was driving home.

I saw it last night, nearly overhead, as I came out of the front doorway of my residence when my pizza got delivered; it was still noticeably flat on one side, but yep, getting so close to being full!
Just hope that the next couple of nights will be clear.

I always think that in photos like that one, where the exposure is longer due to the lower light level and it creates a kind of glow effect on lightsources, streetlights look like artificial Moons. Razz
