For some reason I missed these posts(Or at least the 19th April one; I happened to check the thread just now and saw both of them!).

Moons through smoke and/or fog always look pretty cool. Guess it must’ve had a halo as well!

We’ve had a lot of overcast nights here lately, so hope I’ll get an opportunity to take a photo of this Moon over the next couple of nights. Feels like ages since I’ve captured one!

OK… So after saying all that, I went outside and saw that it’s actually a pretty clear night out there right now - with the Moon out!

I also took a photo, it had been clear skies but by the time I did get into gear light cloud had moved over.

That sounds very frustrating!

After being heavily overcast all last night it’s now been pissing it down with rain all day here today, with cloud cover heavy enough to turn the daylight into bright twilight, and tonight it looks like being the same.
So it looks I might’ve taken the only photo opportunity which I’m likely to get for this Full Moon!

Wow Moonrise was spectacular tonight, so big and bright!

I actually saw it rising last night at dusk, a cracking Full Moon directly to the south, looking huge because of how low down it was. Meant to take a photo but didn’t have my phone on me at the time. :-/

Stunning photos Aggie!! You actually captured the moonrise really well IMO!  

For the last couple of months here we’ve not had much opportunity to photograph Full Moons, as it’s generally been so cloudy and rainy at Full Moon time.
Hoping that next month onwards will be different!
