Re: 1969 Moon Landing
I fond the information on the Van Allen radiation belt very interesting. This raises even more questions, did they not know about it on the trip to the first moon landing? Thanks for the link Omega.

Re: 1969 Moon Landing
All the van Allen belts were known to the engineers Star. They had sent many probes out through it to test the strength and size of it.
The deniers still stick with the Grand Conspiracy of Silence. Including all the others who were involved.
The landing site with all the equipment is there in photographs by satellites of several different countries. All of which have been sworn to Secrecy, does that make any sense to you Star? Th engineers from Japan, China, India and Europe are all keeping the secret mate.
Even in the US their NSA couldn't keep their nefarious activities quiet and there is only a few hundred of them. Yet we are expected to believe that thousands of people from all over the world could.
The whole controversy started with the book "Dark Moon" published in the early 90's by Mary Bennett and David Percy and further stuff by Bart Sibrel who is a nutcase anyway and no-one should ever believe anything he says.
Always check the sources Star.
Tim.

Re: 1969 Moon Landing
I haven't commented on this thread. but have been following it. My view on the moon landings was the first moon landing was fake, due to the fact the Americans wanted to beat the Russians in the space race to put humans on the moon. Especially as it was the Russians that were the first to land an unmanned spacecraft on the moon. There were failed American attempts before 1969, and I think they still were not ready in 1969 to pull it off, they just felt it was about time they did.
But I believe that the subsequent missions are all real, they just were not quite ready to go to the moon on the mission in 1969. But of course not all the missions, even after 1969, were successful.
But that is what I believe, nope I have nothing to prove or disprove my thoughts, just my thoughts on the subject that's all.

Re: 1969 Moon Landing
Fair comments Stirkles. And you may well be right too. I personally think that it wasn't faked because, if nothing else, it would have been very hard to keep it quiet. Not impossible though but with so many working on the project some-one would have spilled the beans a long time ago. Yet no-one has!
The remains are there on the moon from the landing including the abandoned Rover and the tracks made by the astronauts. And even the flag!

Re: 1969 Moon Landing
There is no flag from Apollo 11, there are still flags standing from the other Apollo missions. Apparently the Apollo 11 flag was knocked over by the thrust of the engines when Apollo 11 took off again!
